Terms of Service
1. The service
autoMapVersus is a mobile game for iOS and Android in which players drive in the real world to capture territories by drawing routes automatically during trips. Players can place markers on owned territories, swallow other players' territories under encirclement rules, or destroy markers by tapping. autoMapVersus is provided as an experimental project by an individual developer. It is not operated by a company or studio. By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility & account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use autoMapVersus. If your country requires a higher digital age of consent, that age applies.
- You must provide accurate information when signing up with Apple Sign In or Google OAuth. One person per account.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your device secure.
3. Premium subscription
- autoMapVersus offers a Premium subscription at the local equivalent of ₺49.99 / month (price set by Apple App Store or Google Play in your region).
- Premium auto-renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Premium grants the Territory Shield benefit: you may protect one new territory for 48 hours, once per calendar month.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at purchase confirmation. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your store account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play under their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
4. Driving safety & disclaimer
CRITICAL SAFETY NOTICE: autoMapVersus is a driving-based game. Your safety and the safety of others is paramount.
- Never interact with the app while driving. The game is designed to operate fully automatically during drives. All interactions (starting a drive, viewing the map, placing markers) must be performed when the vehicle is parked or by a passenger.
- Obey all traffic laws. The game does not override or replace your legal obligations as a driver. Speed limits, traffic signals, parking restrictions, and all other road rules apply.
- The developer is not liable for traffic violations, accidents, or injuries. By using this app you accept full responsibility for your driving behavior and any consequences that may result.
- Do not drive solely for the game. Play during trips you would take anyway (commute, errands, travel). Do not take unnecessary or unsafe trips to gain in-game advantage.
5. Fair play rules
The integrity of the game depends on real-world driving. You must not:
- Use GPS spoofing, mock locations, jailbreak/root tweaks, or emulators
- Use automation tools, bots, or scripts that simulate driving
- Operate multiple accounts to gain in-game advantage
- Reverse engineer, modify, or repackage the app
- Disrupt other players or our backend infrastructure
We may run anti-cheat checks (speed validation, route pattern analysis, server validation) and silently invalidate drives that fail these checks.
6. PvP rules
- Swallow: a player who closes a polygon that fully contains another player's territory and has a longer perimeter takes ownership of that territory.
- Tap-to-destroy: tapping a marker deals damage up to your current fuel balance. Reducing a marker's fuel to zero neutralises the territory.
- Territory Shield (Premium): a shielded territory is immune to both swallow and tap-to-destroy for 48 hours.
7. Account suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, especially the fair play rules in section 5. Termination cancels active Premium benefits; refunds are subject to the store's policies. You can delete your account at any time from Profile or by emailing hi@ssilistre.dev.
8. Intellectual property
The autoMapVersus name, logo, source code, art, and gameplay design are owned by the autoMapVersus team. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial play.
9. User-generated content
Display names, avatars, team names, and other user-supplied text must not be illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexual, or infringing. We may change or remove offending content without notice.
10. Disclaimer of warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app is error-free, always available, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. As an experimental project, game data (territories, fuel/km balances, teams, progress) may be lost, reset, or modified at any time without notice. No gameplay outcome, ranking, or virtual item carries monetary value.
Driving carries inherent risk. You are solely responsible for your own safety and the safety of others. You must obey all traffic laws and never interact with the phone while driving. autoMapVersus and its developer accept no liability for traffic violations, injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from use of the app. The game is not a substitute for safe driving practices, navigation systems, or common sense.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, autoMapVersus and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including personal injury, lost data, traffic violations, accidents, or in-game loss of territory or progress. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the greater of (a) what you paid us in the past 12 months and (b) ₺200.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes will be resolved before the Istanbul (Çağlayan) courts and enforcement offices, without prejudice to your consumer rights under local law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app with at least 7 days' notice. Continuing to use the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
